Yes, I am weird but in a good way. I'm basically a guy that likes to have fun and tries to not get down on life about the little things. I love camping hunting fishing and paradoxically video games. I was a mobile & nightclub DJ for roughly 12 years, with a brief stint as a radio DJ too. This along with my age means I am NOT interested in the club scene. Never been much of a bar goer either, probably since I've been working in them since before I could drink anyway.

Over the last couple years I have been involved both in front of and behind the camera on several local independent film projects. I consider myself to be a 'technical creative' -- in that I can't pick up a pencil or brush and create art.. but I can plan camera movements and background action to make an otherwise boring scene come to life for a film, and other such technically involved creative pursuits.

I enjoy film-making, skiing, cooking (but only when not just cooking for myself), camping, travel, and plenty of other topics too numerous to mention here.

I randomly fade in and out of communications here because I got bored with it, but recently became single, and will be working on motivating myself to do something about it.

I work with disabled adults and love my job. When I am not at work I like to do a lot of different things depending on my mood. My hobbies are many, here are just a few; drawing, painting, photography, reading, crossword puzzles, triva games, cards, raquetball, lifting weights, martial arts, mountainbiking, downhill skiing, bowling, movies, documentaries, politics(I am liberal), intellectual conversations, history, museums, comedy clubs, live bands (NOT country), music, tattoos, piercings, hiking, gardening, thunderstorms, stargazing, animals, and last but most important children. I have two daughters who are with me every other weekend.

Well new to the online dating community but figured this is an easy way to potentially meet people. Im 37, divorced, and have three kids. They are my life but that doesnt mean I cant share my life with someone potentially great.

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said by hundreds of other guys on these sites. I can't say that I'm laid back. Probably a misquote, but in any case describes my outlook life.
Simply put I enjoy reading, playing video games, disc golf, politics, music, writing, hiking,swimming, camping, biking, internetting, sleeping and waxing intellectual on a variety of subjects. Also, I am a Christian who is unsure of the significance of the denomination thing at the moment, though my faith is important to me. I tend to lean left on the political spectrum for a variety of reasons. Otherwise I generally just want to enjoy life.

I will expand this simply to gain the percentage completion, because I am a nerd like that.

I can be kind of argumentative if I strongly believe in what I am saying. However, I also believe there are very few absolutes in life and subscribe to the idea that there is a bit of gray in every aspect of existence. This unfortunately leads one to perceive me to be a bit wishy-washy, but that is hardly the case.

Furthermore, I find myself to be a jack-of-all-trades, master of none. If you understand that, you are well on your way to solving the mystery of one such as I.

Regarding my inability to accept absolutes.
The world is full of gray areas, and the extremes are rarely right. One can see this in the political realm. The extremists on the right would have us leave the market to fix itself, despite the imperfections of man, and an inherent conflict in expecting everyone to be honest all of the time. While those on the lefts complete government regulation of everything ignores the conflicts inherent in reality and thinks all things can be solved by government intervention coupled with everyone's ability to get along in all things. The point of all this rambling is that there is no such thing as an absolute, as there is more often than not an exception to the rule.

Concerning my religious beliefs.

I am first and foremost a Christian. Not a Catholic, not a Lutheran, but a Christian. I feel that denominations exist to allow different personality types to worship God in the way that works best for them, thus I find it foolish to fight over which church is the true church.

Furthermore, the emphasis should be on Christ loving him, and not on silly church politics. The Bible is pretty clear in the assessment that the only way to heaven, is through faith. Yet, we constantly judge others for their perceived sins. I'm pretty sure it says not to judge others in the Bible a multitude of times. Yet, it is such judgments that cause so many to become disenfranchised with Christianity. As Christians we need to strive to avoid such pitfalls, as it is detrimental to our faith.

My thoughts on relationships.

When it comes to Love and relationships, I think there is only one way to effectively sustain a relationship in a positive way, and that is make sure unconditional Love is being shown at all times by both parties involved. Without that, one does not stand a chance.

Lastly, I know its a buzzword, but communication is key to keeping a relationship strong. Without communications everything falls apart.

I'm a pretty laid back person and can't stand the drama that some people bring with them. I enjoy getting into debates or light arguments with people, usually on the typical topics of religion or politics or world affairs in general. I'm hesitant to say "liberal" but that's where I think most of my views fall. I'm a pretty eccentric person in some ways and there's more beneath the surface that most people never see. I recall a personality test stating that I build very few relationships, but they tend to be very strong. That's pretty dead on in my opinion. This is my first time ever trying out one of these dating websites so this has been an adventure in itself.

I'm sarcastic but also really sweet. I enjoy laughter and having a good time in life. I have many hobbies and am always open to trying new things. I can be outgoing and crazy and also a quiet home body. I can be very loud and boisterous. I'm intelligent in a life experience, street smarts kind of way. I like to keep active in live trying to live each moment to their fullest. I am in the Air Force Reserve for Networking. I also work in my career with allot of computers. I am working hard to graduate for graphic design and get my certification done for networking, so i am still highly artistic. When not working I try to keep busy. I enjoy drawing, DJ-ing, partying, hunting, fishing, running, martial arts, skateboarding, painting, Gaming (board games and video games both are fun). This list could really go on forever. I have 2 dogs so I make it a weekly habit to take them to a Dog park to relieve some of their energy. I also enjoy going out by I also enjoy staying home and relaxing some days drinking coffee and reading a book or watching TV.

My nickname is â??Sunshineâ?? because I am always looking for and expect to find something to be happy about, or to celebrate, or to find hope in when the world seems dark, lonely and unforgiving. My quest in life is to make a positive difference in the world each day. I am a child at heart and look first to find the child that still exists in ALL people. I am a lifelong learner, â??road scholarâ?? and truth seeker. I believe that truth is found when knowledge and understanding are bound together to create wisdom.

I love satire and quirky humor that you have to think about to get the meaning. For whatever reason I don't think I have ever been jealous or envious of anybody or anything. While my "Self-Summary" may seem a little intense I do not take myself or anybody else too seriously. I love to laugh and am open to discussing anything of mutual interest.

Friendship is important to me and is a prerequisite before physical intimacy.. I always try to be genuine, honest and considerate toward all people. My friendship comes with no strings attached. I am not looking for sex, instant commitment, money, fame, affirmation or anything else. I am a â??low maintenanceâ?? friend because.... well, I'm basically a happy person and regardless of the challenges I have faced in my life and the many times I have walked alone.... I was married for 20 years... 1st 10 great... 2nd 10 not so great... former spouse opted for free agency now GREAT once again. I dont like this part. I love the outdoors, traveling, camping running, exercise is good, easy going, I enjoy good food, and love sharing things with the ones I love.

I am a very busy person with work and school. Im a senior at Metro State and plan on graduating this fall with a business degree in accounting. I Enjoy playing most sports, hanging out with family and friends, going out to the bars, going to twins games, amusement parks, movies, etc... Looking to meet new friends and hopefully someone to date.

Most people would not think of me as a woman that likes to be naughty and do things that are what you would deem as not socially acceptable. I like to have fun when I am out with friends and do my fair share of searching for a perfect friend to keep me company. I've not yet decided on what level I would like a relationship though. I there, well I'm an outdoorsman...I love to hunt and fish and also try to stay active by playing soccer. This winter I hope to try broomball or hockey. I spend alot of my winter free time traveling to watch college hockey. I love to watch sports too but just so you know I'm a fan of wisconsin teams likes the packers, brewers, and bucks. I will say that I have become a bit of a Minnesota Wild fan since I moved here.
